Privacy Policy

1. Information Neatly accesses

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Neatly may access media in your photo library, files and device storage, and contacts. This access lets Neatly scan, review, organize, compress, save, or delete the items you select.

2. How media and device information are used

Neatly uses information from your device to provide its cleanup, organization, storage-health, and media-compression features. For example, it may read media metadata such as file size, date, dimensions, or duration to identify items for review. Processing for these features is designed to occur on your device.

Neatly does not make deletion decisions for you. Actions that change, save, or remove content require your interaction and confirmation.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

If you use a paid feature, Neatly uses RevenueCat to help manage purchases, subscriptions, and entitlement status. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information and device identifiers as described in its own privacy documentation. Payments are processed by the applicable app store; Neatly does not receive your full payment-card details.

4. Permissions and your choices

You can choose whether to grant device permissions. You can also limit or revoke them at any time through your device settings. Some features may be unavailable or work differently if the related permission is not granted.

5. When information is shared

Neatly does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only where needed to operate a feature you use, such as purchase and subscription management through RevenueCat, or where required by law.

6. Data retention

Media and files you manage remain on your device unless you choose to delete them. Compressed videos are saved to the public Movies/Neatly folder on Android. Neatly may retain limited app settings and entitlement information as needed for the app to work and to restore purchases.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by Neatly. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and you should keep backups of important content.

8. Children’s privacy

Neatly is not directed to children in jurisdictions where parental consent is required for the processing of personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with Neatly, please contact us using the support method available in the app or on this website.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Neatly changes or as legal requirements evolve. The latest version will be posted on this page, with an updated effective date.
